The Hotel is greatly located, so, if in your days off you would like to visit the region, this is an advantage. The house itself is gorgeous and some of the staff is very friendly and help you a lot during your training period
The "old" staff is not friendly at all with new employees. During COVID period the management was suffering the pressure of the non optimal performance, and reflected this mood to the employees, this is not fair at all. Someone said that people leave the working place for the management, not for the place itself. This is incredibly true.
Here is like the other hotels of the world, you start with the mise en place and finish with the general cleaning. The problem is in the middle, sometimes you fell like in the army, where the old wants the young to do non sense things
Atmosphere within team is friendly
Got Covid during my employment in the last winter season and had to go into quarantine in the staff accomodation. There was no care package of any sort given by HR or GM and I had to get groceries etc via my colleagues. It is a great example why people are leaving the hospitality industry when employees are not cared for.
Just follow what you are told, do not question anything, have low expectations and you will not be disappointed.
Das grosse Team aus den verschiedenen Nationen. Das freundliche und respektvolle Miteinander. Die Fairness. Sehr gute Arbeitsrahmenbedingungen. Viele Personalunterkünfte, für jedes Budget, verfügbar. Eine grosse Mensa mit leckerem Essen und zusätzlich einem Salatbuffet bestehend aus mind. 6 verschiedenen Salaten.
Längere Saisonzeiten und somit längere Anstellungsverhältnisse.
