Scope and General Purpose of the Job
- Lead daily operations of assigned Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional quality, service, and team performance.
- Deliver attentive and professional service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Foster employee engagement through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure outlets operate efficiently and profitably in line with hotel standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Outlet Operations
- Oversee daily service, promotions, and inventory.
- Support menu planning, cleanliness, and kitchen protocols.
- Ensure consistency in food presentation and service.
- Maintain proper mise-en-place and table settings.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Train staff in service standards, wine knowledge, and guest interaction.
- Delegate tasks, manage schedules, and evaluate performance.
- Mentor team members and address performance issues.
- Monitor labor costs and staff certifications.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Maintain accurate sales records and support revenue planning.
- Conduct inventories and enforce cost control procedures.
- Manage stock levels and ensure timely procurement.
Guest Relations
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Provide personalized service to VIPs and repeat guests.
- Promote hotel services and maintain product knowledge.
- Coordinate with guests for special functions and events.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to HACCP, EOSH, and UAE hospitality regulations.
- Report equipment issues and ensure proper maintenance.
- Operate equipment safely and maintain outlet hygiene.
Customer Service Excellence
- Demonstrate attentiveness and professionalism in guest interactions.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs with a service-first attitude.
- Foster positive interdepartmental relationships and teamwork.
Health & Safety Awareness
- Follow all safety protocols related to hygiene, environment, and fire safety.
- Remain vigilant and report hazards or equipment failures.
- Ensure safe operation of all service equipment.
