About the Role:
This function is to ensure to provide all forms of maintenance, repairing and upkeep of various appliances and equipment within the assigned Hotel ensuring providing premium quality service and maximum comfort of Rovers whilst complying to aimed safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair various equipment and systems within the hotel. This includes electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, elevators, fire safety systems, generators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other technical infrastructure.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and systems are regularly inspected and serviced.
Respond to guest requests and complaints related to technical issues in guest rooms and aim to resolve guest concerns promptly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for energy-saving initiatives and implement measures to reduce energy consumption.
Communicate effectively with other hotel staff and management to report issues, provide updates on repairs, and coordinate maintenance schedules.
Ensure that all security & safety measures are met when executing the daily duties.
Treat all Rovesters with respect and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or vocational training in general maintenance is an advantage.
Certifications or licenses on specific field may be required depending on local regulations.
Typical Experience
Previous work experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
