Summary

The Cluster Security Manager holder contributes to the hotels overall performance by ensuring the safety and security of all guests, team members, contractors and visitors. They oversee all security-related matters within the property and consistently provide professional, attentive and friendly service. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Safety and Security policies in compliance with Accor Cluster Hotels Policies and Procedures.
  • Serve as the champion of the Emergency Preparedness Guide.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the hotels security policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance across all areas at all times.
  • Brief Supervisors on upcoming functions, VIP arrivals and events requiring additional or special security preparations.
  • Conduct frequent front and back of house inspections to ensure security procedures and appropriate manning levels are consistently maintained; take corrective action when necessary.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise departmental team members, including assisting with the preparation of work schedules.
  • Direct and oversee team members to ensure all daily operational matters are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Investigate incidents occurring within the hotel and, in cases involving criminal activity, assist the Police in their investigations.
  • Maintain the incident and complaint reporting system, referring matters to the appropriate departments for timely follow-up.
  • Oversee the operations, staffing and equipment of the Security Department.
  • Recommend improvements and operational enhancements through close supervision, contributing to the development of the hotels service standards.
  • Handle and resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring positive relationships with guests, clients and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with external agencies including Police, Fire Services, and other relevant authorities.
  • Train team members in accordance with established procedures and conduct regular training meetings to address issues, share information, and plan future improvements.
  • Manage third-party security providers where applicable.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with relevant government agencies.
  • Foster a professional and ethical working environment aligned with the Companys Code of Conduct and Vision.
  • Maintain and promote an open-door policy, offering guidance and support to team members regarding concerns or grievances.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and one-to-one meetings with direct reports to support performance and development.
